for the Great Lakes Brewing Company's annual company picnic. 

We'll be the entertainment for the picnic as Tofu Light, which is our acoustic persona. We might even have a beer or two.

     

Friday evening, 

October 2nd 

at First Friday Arts in Stark. 

The First Friday Arts in Stark is hosted by the Stark County Arts Council, and is held in downtown Canton. We'll be playing as Tofu Light. Read more at www.artsinstark.com and at www.cantonfirstfriday.com .

      

Saturday evening, 

October 3rd 

for the Summit County Historical Society. 

Tofu Light will perform for their Annual Dinner. 

       

Saturday evening, 

October 17th 

for a wedding. 

The full band will be performing at a private wedding in Sheffield lake.

     

Friday evening, 

October 23rd 

at Musica in downtown Akron.

We've got a demo CD...

The Tofu Fighters have a demo CD available, recorded live at Musica during one of our shows there. Let us know if you are considering having us perform at your event and we'll get one out to you.

Come out to Club Tofu for great live music! It's located at the rear entrance to the Mustard Seed Cafe in Montrose.

The Tofu Fighters, named for the members' clean living and common backgrounds with health food stores in the area, play a unique mix of creative covers and eclectic originals that'll make you get up and dance! We play the classic favorites from the 60's to the present and a great mix of originals.

 

The Tofu Fighters are a seven member band that will fire off a modern rock favorite, follow it with a Beatles tune, then play one of Dave, Art, or Jo's originals, play a jam band dance song, and go directly into a Dylan masterpiece.

The group's music is driven by each member's experiences and interest, which range from singer/songwriter to music teacher to being active members in other area bands. We've been musicians for many years and some of us have been playing together for decades. We may have grown up, but we've never lost our love for Rock n' Roll!
