"I thought the performance at The Rose Theater was great. I hope you perform there again. Mom really liked it too. I loved the arrangement of "Man Gave Names to All the Animals". You guys achieved the "fun" quality I think Dylan wanted but couldn't deliver himself. Also enjoyed the Rambler Kids. What a great way to keep families close..."

Our Medina Rose CD

The Brick Road Ramblers' performance at The Rose Theater in Medina, Ohio, on October 9th, 2004, was recorded to make our newest CD, Medina Rose. It fully captures the feel of a live old time music stage performance since all of the songs are presented without studio editing, except for the mastering process. Medina Rose includes previously unrecorded tunes as well as new versions of a few old favorites.

Tom Ball, whose Just Plain Folk and Anything Goes programs appear each week on 913TheSummit (WAPS), hosted the show. His introduction is included as the first track, and there's also an Outer Space interview of the band members. Joining us for several numbers were the Rambler Kids, the young children of the band members, and some old friends of ours, the Sunshine Cloggers. We regularly perform with the Rambler Kids and the Sunshine Cloggers at the Yankee Peddler Festival, and you can read more about it on our Rambler Kids and Sunshine Cloggers pages.
